Note: This is just the source and requires XCode to compile, theres some issues with the audio quality that came with the 64-bit port that I haven't the time to track down so i'm putting it up to the community and the VirtualBox devs to take a crack at it, the important thing is this source is full 32/62-bit compliant. The bug seems to be fixed with versions 5.1.4 and later. There is a bug in versions between 5.1.0 and 5.1.2 (more fine grain between builds 108857 and 108931), where there is a warning and no sound in any of the guests, in OSX versions 10.9 through 10.11. I am using a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.9.5 with a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM, and my main sequencer is Ableton Live 9. I am trying to create an aggregate audio device with my MOTU Ultralite, Roland Aira devices (TB-3, TR-8 and System 1m), and my Pioneer DJM2000 nexus.

When I start any of the VMs I get the warning message the OM posted. It's just a warning/advice so I'll bear it in mind but it doesn't mean anything is going to blow up. However, each of the Windows guests are exhibiting the same problem - namely that there is no sound output on the host.

Incidentally I get sound when I use the uFoscam app on my mac but after about 5 minutes the sound and video go out of sync by about 30 seconds or more. I emailed the app makers about that - no reply. What do we do - give up, buy a PC.? Hi Felix Thanks for providing the nightly build site. I am a new Mac user and hope you will answer some questions about installing it.

Please note that the current version of UAD software, UAD v8.7, is tested and compatible with other versions of Mac OS X, including 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, and 10.11 El Capitan. * Multi-unit FireWire systems will not be compatible with macOS Sierra in the November 2016 UAD software update. Is Live 9 compatible with macOS Sierra? We are not aware of any issues affecting the latest version of Live 9 under macOS Sierra.

Both the CPU and RAM meters from the Activity Monitor display show the load on the computer when playing back audio in the Fairlight page. As you can see, the computer is far from back taxed out — indicating the limitation seems to be imposed by the software and not by computer hardware itself. If the issue is perhaps the RX6 plugins, can someone recommend another brand or set of plugins that would work well (as far as anyone knows) with Fairlight? Or plugins that have a track record of working well with Resolve? RX6 Info and Version Information: iZotope RX6 Elements v6.00.1210 System Description: MacPro (2013) 12-Core, 64GB RAM Dual D700 GPUs External GTX 1080 Ti MacOS 10.12.6 Dual Monitor Setup w/ UltraStudio Mini on a Third Display Audio Flow: Built-in Line Output via the 1/8” Line out Jack on the MacPro to a mixboard, to Speakers. This doesn't seem to work for me. My host is Ubuntu Lucid 64-bit, VB is 3.2 Beta2, guest is Snow Leopard 10.6.3. I tried both the package installer method and the manual install method. In both cases, the guest freezes when shutting down, requiring me to power it off manually. After firing back up, there is still no sound and the System Preferences->Sound window shows 'No output devices found'.

If Resolve is unable to handle the audio processing of the VST plugins in the Fairlight page, why does the audio with all the effects playback normally in the EDIT page? If the problem is the result of an inability to process the RX6 Noise Reduction plugins, where is the limitation? Seems to me the 12-Core MacPro ought to be able to handle the processing as noted below.

Our apologies for the issue. - The latest version of the driver for the Hauptwerk USB key might be needed, which is now available on our main downloads page: - After installing the driver for the Hauptwerk USB key macOS may show the following warning: 'System Extension Blocked: A program tried to load new system extension(s) signed by 'SFNT Germany GmbH'. If you want to enable these extensions, open Security & Privacy System Preferences.' However, Hauptwerk should work fully even if the warning is simply ignored (without performing any actions to enable the extensions, or any other related actions). - macOS 10.13 isn't shown as the operating system version in the Hauptwerk log, or mentioned in the version of the Hauptwerk user guide that's installed by Hauptwerk v4.2.1.
