Hdmi Video Converter Box Not Working Download For Mac

Solved hdmi to vga adapter that run to box with rca out to tv for video.does not work solution Solved VGA to HDMI doesn't work? Solution vga to hdmi not working Forum. Mar 11, 2015  I recently purchased an HDMI to RCA converter box to be able to connect my PC computer or my 'Acer Iconia Tablet' to my OLD TV and play movie videos on it.

It runs on a 5v power source that came with the unit. I bought brand new HDMI and component cables to use with the unit. As described, it doesn't seem to produce video at all. The device's red power light comes on and there's no indication of problems, but all I get is audio from my laptop. I tried the same thing with my dvd recorder, connecting it to the converter using the same HDMI cable. Using the same component out to connect to the older tv, I still get no picture. I've tried several video settings on the dvd recorder but none of them change the results.

I'm sure they will still charge top dollar for HD but only allow us to use component cables? I really don't want to 'dumb down' my picture. Hi New member needs help. Hardware: Sharp Aquos LC-46XD1E Nvidia 6800 GS DVI - HDMI CABLE Vista 64 bit I can connect my pc via VGA no problem, when I try DVI - HDMI the Nvidia control panel detects the 'Sharp HDMI' tv, Windows also recognises that there is a TV attached and I am able to ramp up the resolution on it and extend the desktop. Basically the pc behaves as if nothing is wrong. The tv remains blank, Im using EXT 5 (HDMI) and have up to date drivers.

The Asus RoG monitor, for example, only lists 1280 x 960 as its lowest supported resolution. Even though it can display 1080p, it can't deal with a 720p signal. (Now I haven't got one, so can't be sure, but it might be the case that someone can set their screen resolution to 1280 x 720 and it'll display.

If I can find a way to force my laptop to lock at the resolution that the converter needs, then maybe I could do this. I can set the laptop to 1280x720 but plugging in the LCD monitor so I can see what I'm doing changes the resolution back, and if I don't use the LCD monitor then I can't see what I'm doing. Sorry for triple posting. I'm trying to edit things as I discover them and find better ways to make sense because I know this is convoluted, but I keep going past the time limit from when I can edit the posts.

If so how do I convince the pc that there is always a monitor attached? Intel pentium j2900 processor heatsink fan. I have the same problem between my 9800Pro and Samsung HL-T6187S. What I've been doing to resolve the issue after changing sources is reseat the DVI cable on the back of my video card. I just hooked up my new Onkyo TX-SR805 and now can't even get HDMI passthough to the TV after the XP boot logo. Any recommendations on where to start?
